Get to Know Dr. Stephen Prieve
Dr. Stephen Prieve, better known to his patients as Dr. Steve, grew up in Denver, Colorado. His interest in dentistry was first piqued while in high school. Although he first pursued engineering as an undergraduate, he quickly transferred to biology to prepare for dental school. Dr. Steve received his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science from Colorado State University.
While in dental school, Dr. Steve found that treating children was more exciting and fulfilling, which led to his specialization. He earned his DMD from Boston University and Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry from NYU Langone. After working in Iowa for two years, he decided to settle in Madison to be closer to his family.
When he’s not in the office, he enjoys biking, especially participating in century rides, golfing, and playing softball. With his passion for flying and airplanes, Dr. Steve has also been working diligently to earn his pilot's license.
